    Reading a book set in Hawaii is like visiting an old friend - in this case Hawaii 50 of my youth (for some reason, not so fond of the new 50). A delicious familiarness yet so much totally unfamiliar!! I enjoyed meeting Lei and Stevens and look forward to reading more ...

    This is definitely the best book I've read in a long time! Everything in the book is there for a reason and adds up to make the captivating story. The characters are real and endearing. They develop, just like real people aren't static stereotypes. Brilliant job to the author.

    EXCELLENT, a mystery, thriller, romance that will keep you guessing until the very end. Although this is book one of a series there's no cliffhanger, what a relief. Highly recommended.
