    This book had me gripped from the first page and the ability the author has to paint enough of a picture to feel as though you are actually there step by step is extraordinary! I gasped in a number of places! I cannot wait to read the next book!

    We have a new fictional hero to follow. FBI Agent Riley Paige can get into the minds of the psychopaths that prey on the innocent. This ability of hers comes with a price, nearly destroying relationships and family. She reminds me a little of Val McDermid's Tony Hill from 'The Mermaid Singing' and 'Wire in the Blood'. Will enjoy following this series.
