    I really enjoyed reading this book. I have read a number of Lee Child’s books now and although they are rather one dimensional in their make-up, they keep you guessing and genuinely intrigued. I enjoyed the characters, their encounters and relationships. A good read.

    As a fan of the Jack Reacher series I first noticed a decline in quality several books ago. However, out of a sense of loyalty and fandom to the character I kept going, trying to ignore the weaker elements. Unfortunately, this is the first title where this is now almost impossible. Boring, stagnant writing about a tedious and uninteresting subject matter with a level of coincidence that is just too great to accept. This honestly feels like a rough outline rather than a finalised novel. Such a shame but I think this series has now finally run out of all ideas. Farewell Mr Reacher.

    I found this book a little stilted,as if it was written by someone else. It was dragged out and choppy. It seemed to me like the usual flow of lee child's was off. I am an avid fan of lee childs and was a little disappointed with this book. I am hopeful the next one will be back on track

    This latest book is as close to a classic as Tom Cruise is to Reacher himself. Unfortunately the plot is as tedious, repetitive,unbelievable and unlikely as any book I've read in a long time. Far too many ridiculous coincidences and insights. As reviewed by others, this story is weak, the characters hackneyed and the tone all too predictable. Yes, Lee Child isn't a classical author but his other stories have had depth, intrigue and a grungy level of sophistication. The twists are usually complex and addictive. All the usual ingredients that make his books addictive are missing. Maybe he's stated writing for Cruise now?? 😕

    Having read everything connected with Jack Reacher, it was good to meet him again. A good story, well told and generous credibility attributed to the supporting characters. Flipping heck, it will be another twelve months before we can yarn again and enjoy another adventure. Tick tock...........

    So so and so boring and useless book. Take out all repetitions and you'll end up with 4 pages of a book to read. Utterly DISSATISFIED. Should have money back offer on this one !!! Actually should get extremely well paid to read. Painfully Boring and uninteresting.

    They're just getting worse now...there have been some absolutely cracking Reacher novels, but this is just dross. It's almost as if Lee Child is parodying his own writing style, and the plot is ridiculous. Definitely the last time I will buy a Jack Reacher novel or short story. What a shame such a good series should come to this, it's insulting to the purchaser to churn out this rubbish.
