Jazz Bashara is a criminal. She lives in a poor area of Artemis and subsidises her work as a porter with smuggling contraband onto the moon. But it’s not enough.

So when she’s offered the chance to make a lot of money she jumps at it. But though planning a crime in 1/6th gravity may be more fun, it’s a lot more dangerous…

    Andy Weir has done it again. Beautifully written, 1st person narration from a likeable character. There’s technicality, realism, and the story moves on at a decent rate. Underneath it all is that undercurrent of humour that we first experienced in The Martian. It’s a light compelling story set on the moon, and I have no doubt that hollywood are already planning sets and scripts. Thats two books in a row he’s made me read in less than two days. In fact one of the action sequences distracted me though an ingrowing toenail surgery, so thanks for that. Good work.
