    I'm not religious and not being used to religious text, found the language disjointed and difficult to follow, so I'd recommend starting with a guide to Islam before attempting this. However, it's important to remember the translation is never going to match the poetry of the work in Arabic. Whether or not you believe it's the word of God or an inspired man, it'd be foolish to dismiss one of the most important works of literature in recorded history.

    It is a revelation from Allah This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah.on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds.
