    I’ve checked out a few book prices in comparison to ibooks with the kindle, and kindle is much cheaper, ie this book is only £4.20 on kindle

    I really want to use iBooks rather than my Kindle, but Apple come on sort out your frankly stupid pricing model. Why would I pay over £3 more to buy a book that I can just read in the Kindle App on my iPad?
  • Interesting tips backed up by solid research

    Now I know that happy people smile...but I didn't know that smiling can make you happier! What about rewarding your kids' with praise? It's better to award them for their efforts not for some innate talent they can't live up to. So in summary there are lots of really interesting, often psychological, explanations explored in this book for making the best out of things. I'd thoroughly recommend it!

    Had downloaded and read the sample book. Very interesting read and something I can relate to. Definitely going to purchase the full book. Did anybody else spot "had had" on page 50 towards last paragraph?

    At last a self-help book that is backed up by research and facts! If you want a book that will blow away the previous soft approaches to self help which relieved on urban myths, this is the book for you. This book is full of useful ideas to enhance your life in as many ways as your imagination and attitudes will allow. It makes no attempt to hide that any change involves work on your part. But at least Richard helps you to find the most efficient way forward in a light hearted way that keeps you turning the pages for more.

    Sick of all those self-help books promising what they cannot deliver? 59 Seconds is a really interesting book with more ideas to help make you happy or achieve your goals. What makes it different? Well, these are not the vague or common sense tips from a typical author of a "self-help" book. Wiseman offers things we can do that are backed up by scientific research and easily achievable. And most importantly, it's an entertaining and enjoyable read. Highly recommended!
