Mysterious Phileas Fogg is a cool customer.     This book IS a true classic. Even today, it makes a gripping read. Verne isn't given to flowery descriptions, in fact his style is dry, almost. Yet you will still fall in love with his characters, and be totally immersed in his tale. He's a story teller, at heart. Of course, at the time of writing, this tale was almost documentary. It described a fictitious journey by conveyances of the period. Now, it is quaint and old fashioned. But it still makes a rip-roaring read! Find it for free, and you get a trip around the world for nothing !!

    Pablue! as Passepartout says. This book was great! I had to write a book review on this in four weeks. I did it in five days, simply because the story intrigued me so much. The story had twists and turns but I didn't just it for that. No, Apple's simple to use iBooks was great. As this is a classic, it had many words I didn't understand, but the easy to use, simple worded built in dictionary sorted that problem out for me. Parents, if you are bent on getting your children reading a classic, this is the book. It has an exciting plot and will keep them entertained for hours. Try to think of Mr Fogg as Robert Downing Jr. I'm serious it'll help! But I think I thought of Fogg as Robert because I had just read A Study In Scarlet, another fascinating read. Hope this helps!     This book is full and badly paced I love the film but not the book which is most unlike me but that's my opinion To improve the book I would have written less intro and more of a detailed story.

    I'm not a big reader, in fact I only downloaded this book because it was free, but I am so glad I did. The story is captivating and the characters are perfectly amiable. A 5 star read!
