    This book is basically a story with a story of the history of the stackhouses. This has some action but not as much as the others. But amazing all the same! Such a great read. Thanks Charlene!

    After the past few books it was good to get back to a more familiar pace of the initial southern vampire mysteries. A good book well written with plenty of guts, gore and good old fashioned dumpy pumpy.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the true blood novels, up until this one. I think that the novels should have finished after 'dead in the family'. It seems Like the story is being dragged out. I was looking forward to this book but I am disappointed at the out come. Although it wasn't awful, it wasn't great either. There is nothing else to write about sookie and her life. Sadly I think it is the end of the road for sookie!

    As a fairly recent Harris fan, I looked forward to the release of this book and was not disappointed. Not as "pacy" as others in the sookie range but filled in the holes. Looking forward to the next one... & maybe some happy news for sookie??
