    It is hard to know where to begin with the nonsense put forward in this leaflet. The obvious response to the failure to comprehend evolution is to point out the genetically proven number of hominids that have existed. For intelligent design to be true each one would have had to be designed separately and a number exist at the same Time. Why? Humanity is supposed to be a one off creation. Only evolution explains this array of hominids. As for the 'old chestnut' of the eye this has been explained in great detail many times. Even Darwin in Origin of Species makes it clear: ...if numerous gradations from a simple and imperfect eye to one complex and perfect can be shown to exist, each grade being useful to its possessor, as is certainly the case; if further, the eye ever varies and the variations be inherited, as is likewise certainly the case and if such variations should be useful to any animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, should not be considered as subversive of the theory. The selective quoting by the author is very notable. As is his obscure bibliography, not one well known name or publication amongst them. Further genetic testing shows that many if not all creatures are related to humans. Orang-utans for instance contain 96.4% the same DNA as humans. Other creatures have less or even more. This proves beyond doubt that life evolved from common ancestors, with much branching and dead ends. The authors demand for the use of the scientific method is highly commended, I wish he would use it. He tries to reduce the age of the universe with no counter argument, just there are flaws in someone else's theory. The age of the universe can be dated by various methods: Radiometric dating, the Speed of light, the life span of a star etc. I could list endless experts who would assert the fact of evolution or the age of the universe and who could give clear, cogent and highly detailed explanations: Professor Alice Roberts, Professor Brian Cox and Professor Richard Dawkins (I'm sure the author knows that name!) but arguing from authority is a weak defence of a point of view. So, all I can finally say is that in the 150 years since the Origin of Species was published the vast amount of evidence that has accrued from: geological, paleontological, cosmological and genetic sources, is consistently in favour of a billions of years old universe and for evolution. I only gave this leaflet 1 star because I couldn't give it zero!

    The only reason I'm giving this book 2 stars as opposed to one is that this guy is so stupid it actually becomes funny he clearly does not know what he's talking about and believes that if he quotes someone who seems to be intelligent that it automatically makes his argument true. Evolution is no longer a theory it is an established fact, this guy needs to get over that and move on with his life.
