    This truly is something grand. A rule book specific to an army which gives you the information on every rule. The price is a bit high for an iBook however with all the extra content and the means to visually appreciate nearly each model in 360 degrees really does offer a lot for just an extra £1.99. In my collection this is the start, I hope, of great things to come.

    I have to agree with Jackson Elias, this is a terrible thing for what you would fork out for. For only 51 pence more, you could buy the Empire hardback armies book which it has to be said, doesn't have 360 degree pictures but like the few hardcover army books preceding it are a far better value than this(and look better in a book case!). If GW wants people to fork out this much for an ebook then they need to look and think of much more than; "pretty pictures go round!"..."gimme money!" They need to include some sort of ready made points-list maker/calculator for the book in question which your can find pretty cheaply in the various app stores (especially for this kind of investment). That said, if you are an empire player and don't want to trash your lovely hardcover armies book then by all means get this to avoid trashing it...you can then trash a £500 tablet instead!

    Much as I respect Ben Curry and enjoy his warhammer podcast, I have to disagree with his review. Whilst the book is solid and a decent update of the Empire army, the price asked is an absolute joke. Perhaps he is angling for a job at Citadel, like ex-co host Ben Johnson. A penny shy of 27 pounds for an ebook is frankly obscene. But we all know what GW are about, and it ain't good customer relations. Easy to see why so many are jumping ship to other games companies.
