    This book the second in the series of books is amazing I have read it twice to prepare myself for the third and also to prolong the reading of it. I wasn't sure how it would work at first but it is one of my favorite books

    Loved the first book & couldn't put it down so had high expectations for this one. I found this book was very descriptive but had very little dialogue between the characters & took pages to get to the point or move the story on. Think someone would find this difficult to read without reading daughter of smoke & bone first. As I loved the first book I kept with it to see how the characters developed & if there is a 3rd I'm sure I will read that but I'm not as excited about this story or characters as I once was.
