    Ok, this book is well written and interesting and yes, I wanted to read this for ages but now I have - I wish I hadn't. For me it screams that this book is just book one in a long series as there was, to me a least, so much of the story missing and the end was very disappointing. Maybe book two, when it surfaces, will answer some of the (as yet?) unanswered questions. But I'm not sure I'll be rushing out to buy it.

    Brilliant book to read to the past to the present it went it was the setting in Holland that I enjoyed the very lovely scenery there was about the story and the characters .I enjoyed . Gillian

    Beautifully written and encapsulates you in the journey from beginning to end. Filled with clever twists and surprises, this is the first book in a long time I have been genuinely disappointed to finish.

    Great great book to read... Loved the characters and everything happening but feel that the ending wasn't too great. Kinda left us guessing but not in a good way. I would recommend but wish it had ended differently!

    It was over far too soon! Loved it from the start and couldn't put it down. It was just the type of book I'd been looking for after a few average reads but now I'm back on the search for something equally as good! A great piece of work.

    I really liked the sample so I decided to buy the book, however it won't let me open it on my iPad although my iOS is up to date, anyone experience a similar problem?

    When I started reading this I thought phew I don't think this is for me- I left it and re-read the reviews and thought I'd give it another go as the reviews were praise indeed......oh I am so glad I did because then I was captured and lived within the walls of the house myself! Great read, it has left me begging for more, the exquisite detail and historical facts were superbly researched.
