    Having read and enjoyed several of Tara's books and followed her on YouTube and MindBodyGreen for yoga and healthy eating tips for a few years, I knew straight away this was one book I definitely wanted to get my hands on and it lived up to my very high expectations! Make Your Own Rules Diet is absolutely brilliant; inspiring and encouraging in equal measures. Tara shares some of her very interesting personal story, from looking at her doing yoga on YouTube it's easy to think that she was born perfect and have always had it totally together, including nutrition so it was incredibly interesting to find out this wasn't always the case and also very inspiring; changing food (or other) habits for the better needn't be hard! Apart from sharing her personal journey the book is full of great pictures and detailed description of yoga poses, advice on meditation practices and best of all incredibly yummy and very nutritious recipes. The book is also beautifully illustrated throughout! Tara is full of encouragement, energy and love and really makes you feel empowered to make whatever changes in life that you want to! Whether you already know that kale is king and practice yoga every day with dedication or are a complete beginner wanting to make some changes to your life style but don't know quite where to start I would highly recommend this book!
