    Very much enjoyed reading this book. It moved along at a nice tempo and there is a good mix of characters. I particularly enjoyed the quirkiness of DS Alicia and I'm intrigued to see how things unfold, professionally and possibly romantically(?) with 'Murphy'...

    I read "his first his second" after reading another A D Davies book "The dead and the missing" and wasn't disappointed .the author draws you into the story by the scruff of the neck sits you down and keeps you there to the very satisfying end.Exellent read
