    A new and novel take on the present fascination with the paranormal. A deliciously engaging heroine, with an irascible nature, a bed and tea fetish, and a weather eye for any paranormal behaviour. The setting is good, the cast of characters quite fascinating, and varied. One cannot but be carried along by the twists and turns of the tale as it unfolds, and to a cliff hanger of an end. Don't think you will read this "freebie", and then just end your relationship with the characters and the plot. You will, if you have any imagination and curiosity, be drawn in to following what comes after. The only downside, and very much a personal quirk, is that I find American spelling and grammar in what is essentially a very "British Victorian" story to sit somewhat uncomfortably with the yarn. But then, that's an old British ex Kenya type for you! Read it, enjoy it, a delight I assure you.
